Tea is Soothing, Relaxing, and Healthy

Tranquility Tea Set

/

Tea is a great way to relax and soothe away your stress.  Whether it is decaf/regular or flavored, it still does the job.  When I am agitated,  upset and need to calm down I reach for a hot cup of tea (even during the hot months) and it instantly relaxes me.  Stress plays a large role in Weight Management.   Along with the ingredients, just the process of making a cup of tea comforts me.  I use the Tranquility Tea Set above that makes me feel like I’m at a Tea Party.  Drinking a hot cup of tea during and after my breakfast is a daily ritual.

Can’t seem to acquire a taste for coffee while eating food, only early in the morning.  Funny thing, I even have acquired a taste for hot tea without sugar.  Now that’s something to talk about.   In the past, 3 spoons was required to make my tea taste right.

I also make my own Sweet Iced Tea.   Get the Recipe here.  McDonalds has nothing on me!

To help maintain hydration and health nutrition experts from the Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake (AI) for women is approximately 9 cups (2.2 L) of fluids every day and for men is approximately 13 cups (3.0 L) of fluids every day.¹,² Since tea without added sugar or milk is 99.5 per cent water, it can count towards your fluid intake for the day – plus it tastes great!
