Network Marketing – Is it Worth It?

After retirement I looked for something I could do from home, on my time, and not sell, sponsor, or recruit. These were my stipulations to the network marketing world. You see, I found that network marketing is the quickest, best way to make money from anywhere in the world to anybody in the world. I tried potions, lotions, pills, and thrills and nothing worked. So I stopped. Did my research and found that unless a person learns how to MULTIPLY their money instead of adding to their bank account, they would be working for money the rest of their life.

My network marketing in the travel industry was very interesting. Not profitable, but rewarding in a personal way. I shared a lot of discount trips and flights to a lot of people. Did I make money? No. The requirements was too steep and I didn’t want to sell or convince people that it was the best for them. You see, everyone traveled, and was looking for the best discount they could get. They did not care about staying at a 5-star resort versus a hotel. They just wanted a vacation at a very discounted price and I understood that. So I stopped pushing travel on people.

While I knew there was something out there that fit me, I had yet to find it. I researched, or rather googled, everything. Kept notes, explored a lot. And a year ago I found my millionaire friend, Randy. Through educational videos and presentations Randy taught me what the banks were doing with my money. And through his mentorship I learned how to do the same thing.

This is one of many blog posts on network marketing. Please come back to see what I found. Okay, I’ll give you a hint – cryptocurrency! Yes, I found the foreign exchange market. Did you know that crypto currency is traded 24 hours a day, 7 days a way.

Stay tuned for Part 2. I promise you will see this very soon. I am too excited about it not to share. However, I like to keep my blog posts short, so sign up for our newsletter so you can be notified when Part 2 is ready.

3 Public Rideshares

While there are many public Rideshares around the world 3 come to mind for me.

Taxis and Buses, Uber and Lyft Rideshare.  While taxis and buses have been popular in the past and readily available, I’ve found Uber and Lyft is more available, definitely safer and affordable.  While you have to be careful with any public rideshare, you can be assured that a driver with Lyft and Uber has gone through thorough background checks before they are allowed to start working.

Lyft has recently changed their policies to allow for frequent background checks on their drivers.  This means you can be assured there is a continuous check to assure even recent incidents are reviewed by Lyft and Uber.

Of course there is always a small 1% chance something slips through the cracks and this is where the rider’s awareness and preparedness comes into play.  Always have a backup plan when you get in someone’s vehicle.  First, confirm the tag number and picture of driver to ensure you are entering the correct vehicle.  Second, always sit in the rear so you can exit quickly and safely if necessary.  When at all possible allow family members or loved ones to know where you are going or simply track your movements.  You can turn on TRACKING on your rider side of the Uber and Lyft APP.  Always have something to protect yourself with such as mace

Black History Month – The Real Meaning

Black History Month

Do you know the real meaning of Black History Month?

Because it is celebrated in February, does not mean its the only month history was made by African Americans.

According to Wikipedia, The precursor to Black History Month was created in 1926 in the United States, when historian Carter G. Woodson and the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History announced the second week of February to be “Negro History Week.”

From Martin Luther King, Jr. who marched for civil and human rights that are being violated in this modern day to Dr. Mae C. Jemison who became the first black female astronaut to Thurgood Marshall to Beyoncé and Hillary Clinton who broke the glass ceiling for women, you will find all the historical events by African Americans.

I recently stumbled upon the African American Heritage Trail in Martha’s Vineyard.  After much research I found this is where the wealthy African Americans vacationed before travel became so popular.  They were able to retrace the steps of their ancestors and continue to keep it alive in history.  It is well worth your while to learn more and visit the Heritage Trail.  Tours range from $15.00 to $75.00   The complete tour includes each island town:
Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, West Tisbury, Aquinnah, Chilmark and Menemsha Village.

Many credits go to Black Market.com for providing such comprehensive data and information on African American history.  We would be amiss if we did not give accolades of praise to The Black History Month for their contributions to African American History.
